How To Get A 500% To 800% Return…On The Value Of Mentoring
“More Cash Flow, More Free Time And More Freedom Of Choice… Through One On One Mentoring With Someone Who’s In Your Corner For The Outcomes That Matter To You.”
What Is The Purpose Of Mentoring?
Simple. Mentoring is a process that drives change — and multiplies every hour, every dollar and every ounce of energy you put in.
The moment you answer to someone other than yourself, things change. It’s one thing to tell yourself you’ll do it. It’s another to know I’m going to ask you on Thursday whether you did. That person brings their energy, their skills and their resources to the table — and the time, money and effort it takes to get where you’re going drops right off.
My mentoring is built to get you past whatever’s slowing you down. It’s built to push, guide and coax you to your results faster, more efficiently, and with a lot more certainty.
Because I’m standing outside your situation, I can see the patterns you can’t — in you, and in the market. When you’re in the thick of it, your head’s drowning in options and none of them look like a way forward. I’ll tell you straight what I see. It’s the most useful feedback you’ll ever get.
We set the outcomes together at the start, and then we go after them. Sometimes that means coaching you through it. Sometimes it means rolling my sleeves up and doing parts of the work with you — the plan, the offer, the funnel — so you see how it’s done and your results come faster.
It’s why the most successful people in the world go looking for the best mentors and coaches they can find. Every champion has a corner.
- If you want more profit, and more done in fewer hours…
- If you want more sales — especially the kind that land every month, on repeat…
- If you want marketing that stops the scroll and gets people talking…
- If you want sales funnels that keep selling while you’re on the tools, on the boat or asleep…
- If you want scroll-stopping videos for a fraction of what an agency charges…
- If you want your videos seen, shared and found on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube…
- If you want a steady flow of free, targeted, organic traffic landing on your opt-in pages…
- If you want to turn what you know into seven-figure consulting fees…
- If you want to sharpen the business you’ve already got, or finally start the one you keep talking about…
- If you want to grab the opportunities this market is throwing up right now — AI, automation and new ways to earn that didn’t exist five years ago…
- If you want more passive income but you’re not sure where to start…
- If you want a marketing plan that actually produces, instead of just looking good on paper…
- If you want to earn more from the customers and contacts you already have…
- If you want new income streams from simple one-click upsells…
- Or if you want to turn the list you’ve already got into fast cash flow with a short, sharp campaign…
…Then One On One Mentoring Is The Best Investment Of Time, Energy And Money You’ll Ever Make.
Mentoring Closes The Gap Between What You Want And What Keeps Turning Up.
The Change Mentoring Creates
Mentoring creates change you can measure — more money in the bank, and more enjoyment in everything you do, at home and at work.
The outcomes you want are always personal to you. Nobody hands you a template.
For some people, it’s change that goes straight at the good stuff: the cash flow, the time and the freedom that come with being independent.
For others, it’s the habits, the thinking and the blind spots that keep a gap open between the results you’re getting and the results you know you’re capable of.
In a nutshell: mentoring closes the gap between what you want and what keeps turning up.
Imagine Getting A 500% Or 800% Boost In Your Productivity And Your Profits.
One on one mentoring changes what you notice and how you act — so the impact you have on your life, your work and your money is as positive as it gets.
It gets you thinking in possibilities again. New ideas. New insights. New skills. More self-belief. And the kind of accountability that makes you follow through.
And it builds momentum — in your finances, your business and your life.
Why Is Mentoring Important?
The writer Deng Ming-Dao pointed out that even kings kept wise advisers close. Anyone who leads — a family, a business, a life — needs someone to check them, and to stop the mistakes power makes.
Every fighter who’s ever held a belt had a corner. Someone outside the ropes who could see what they couldn’t, and tell them between rounds.
The whole point of mentoring is to develop the potential you haven’t used yet — so your results don’t just spike, they last.
Here’s the catch. Your brain is built in a way that makes success hard. Its number one job isn’t making you rich — it’s keeping you alive. So it plays it safe. It protects. It runs the thoughts it ran yesterday instead of chasing new possibilities.
Your Brain Is Wired For Familiar, Not For Freedom…
That preference for what’s familiar is the single biggest reason you can’t seem to crack the problems in front of you.
Your day-to-day reality is built out of what your brain notices. But the answers you need are always sitting outside what it’s used to noticing.
It’s why the world’s best teams and most successful people all have coaches and mentors. They know the breakthrough lives outside what their brain habitually finds.
The famous family therapist Virginia Satir once told Richard Bandler, the co-creator of NLP, that people think survival is our strongest instinct — but it isn’t.
The strongest instinct is to keep things familiar.
Virginia Satir
That pull back to familiar means your mind fights change — hard. Never underestimate it if you want to grow or change your results.
Even the word gives it away. “Familiar” comes from the old French famelier and the Latin familiaris: of the family, of the household. We’re wired to keep things close to home. It’s a survival mechanism built for safety.
It’s the same pull that keeps people drinking with the same mates, having the same conversations and getting the same results, year after year. It feels safe. It feels like home. And it keeps you exactly where you are.
It’s not who you are. It’s the room you’re standing in.
Mitch Lingard
Unless someone points your attention straight at those habits of thinking and doing, they’ll keep walking you back to the same place.
The Familiar Keeps Handing You The Same Outcomes, Over And Over…
Mentoring opens up a whole new world of possibilities — and that’s where the extraordinary outcomes live.
Understand that one design flaw in your brain, and you understand why a mentor is critical to getting further, faster.
The answers are usually outside your frame of reference — outside what’s familiar to you. They’re in the information and strategies your brain normally walks straight past. That’s exactly where a good mentor earns their keep.
The world’s greatest achievers know for certain that the best return they’ll ever get is on the time and money they invest in themselves.
Survey after survey backs it up: mentoring is the kind of leadership people rate highest for real personal and professional growth. The returns beat anything people get going it alone.
What Are The Benefits Of Mentoring?
Big picture? Extraordinary success.
It doesn’t take superhuman talent, and it’s not out of reach for anyone who wants to tap into what they’re really capable of. Put simply, extraordinary success comes from turning good ideas into things you actually do, day after day, until they stick.
Most people have plenty of ideas and dreams. What they’re missing is the staying power — the focus to keep doing the work long after the excitement wears off.
Extraordinary success comes from focused determination on an outcome, backed by real action.
The greatest benefit you’ll get is working with someone who helps you build that capacity — so the money, the freedom and the life you want actually arrive.
The exact benefits depend on you: what you want, your values, your stick-ability, your commitment to growing, and your drive. But the ceiling? In martial arts there’s no top. Past black belt there’s first degree, second, third, all the way to grandmaster. Money’s the same.

One benefit every mentoring client gets: a safe place to test strategies, opportunities and ideas that sit outside what’s familiar.
That builds confidence, self-belief and a real sense of control — and it saves you time, money and expensive mistakes.
The flow-on effects are just as big: more money coming in, a clearer sense of purpose, more time freedom, more energy, better health, and a lot more happiness.
If you run a business, it shows up as stronger cash flow, less stress, more time off, marketing on Instagram and Facebook that pulls the right clients in, a website that actually works, automated funnels that sell while you sleep, and smart new ways to make money from what you already know.
The End Result? Success Comes Easier And Faster — Because You Get Done With You And Done For You.
How Does Mentoring With Mitch Work?
When you become a mentoring client, you get one on one access to me — in person, on the phone or on Zoom.
It’s all about unlocking the potential you haven’t tapped yet, so you get more of what you actually want.
Our first session maps out exactly where you’re at and the results you want. Then we map the steps to get you there.
Everyone’s different, so your program gets built with you — around your work, your family and the time you’ve actually got. A parent with three kids and a crew of six doesn’t get the same plan as a single apprentice.
The first few sessions are about solving problems and getting crystal clear on the outcomes. After that, we build the strategies and the skills to hit them.
It’s personal, tailored and done together — not a one-size-fits-all textbook where you jump through someone else’s hoops.
I work within your values and your beliefs, and I look at the whole picture — money, business, health and relationships. And instead of hammering your weaknesses, I take the strengths you’ve already got and make them stronger.
Why Does Mentoring Work So Well?
What makes my approach different is that it starts by finding what you’re naturally great at — the talents you’ve got buried that you’re not using.
Think about a footy team. You’d never ask your front-rower to play halfback, or your halfback to pack down in a scrum. Each of them is brilliant in their own position. Swap them and the whole side falls apart.
Everybody’s got their own genius. We’ve all got strengths and weaknesses. Try to build success by grinding away at your weaknesses and you’ll struggle — and you’ll probably quit.
Develop Your Natural Talent
Success doesn’t come from fixing your weaknesses. It comes from sharpening the talents and strengths you’ve already got, so you get more done with less effort. We want things easier, simpler and more enjoyable.
Look at JK Rowling. Before Harry Potter, she was a single mum on welfare and nothing she tried was working. Then she leaned into her greatest talent — writing — and became one of the richest authors in the world.
I’ve lived my own version of it. I chased a footy career until my spine said no. What got me back on my feet wasn’t trying to be someone else — it was martial arts, fatherhood and building businesses. The things I was actually built for.
Uncovering Your Hidden Talents And Strengths…
So how do you find the talents you haven’t tapped yet? That’s exactly where we start.
Our first session is like reading the owner’s manual for your own mind. It shows how you’re wired: what you were born good at, where your blind spots are, and what’s been tripping you up with money.
Here’s How It Works…
- We start with a straight conversation about where you are right now — money, work, family, the lot.
- We dig into how you think, how you make decisions, and how you really deal with money when nobody’s watching.
- You walk away with a clear picture of your strengths and your blind spots, and the one or two tweaks that will make the biggest difference first.
Here’s What You’ll Discover About Yourself…
How your mind makes big decisions. The way you learn best. And the one tweak to one of your strengths that will make you faster and more productive straight away. Most people learn more about themselves in that session than in the years before it.
From there, one on one mentoring is built to grow the talents you already have, in the direction that matters to you.
It’s all about training your eye to see…
- …new opportunities
- …new solutions
- …new options, and
- …new capabilities…
…so you keep growing your financial returns and hitting the outcomes that matter.
The clearer you are on what you truly value, the easier it is to build a future that lines up with it.
Mentoring with me is private. It’s a safe place to change. I’ll be your sounding board, your mentor and your guide — and a brick wall at your back when it gets hard.
The best thinkers know they can’t be right all the time and can’t do it all alone. They also know the answers are often sitting where they’d never think to look.
Because everything is built around your outcomes, there’s no glossy brochure and no one-size-fits-all checklist to download.
I’m Interested In What Works, Not In Formulas.

About Your Mentor
Mitch Lingard
Money Mentor, Black Belt Results
By the time I hit rock bottom, I had already lived a dozen lives—fighter, hustler, father, survivor, leader.
I’d been to the darkest corners of despair, and I clawed my way back out.
I rebuilt my body, my mind and my soul, and none of it came easy. I rejected the blueprint society hands you — conform, numb out, stay in your lane, work till you’re 67 — and chose a different path. One built on truth, on brotherhood, on wholeness.
Through years of martial arts, fatherhood, emotional healing and building businesses, I set a new standard for what a powerful man could be: strong, vulnerable, grounded, dangerous — but controlled.
That’s when people started asking me, “How did you do it?”
For the past decade I’ve been answering that question, through mentoring, community and a method that brings all four archetypes together into one whole, powerful life.
But there was one thing I hadn’t mastered yet: money. I could hold my own in a boxing tent, and I was still stuck in the same loop as everyone else — earn it, spend it, borrow more.
So I did what I’d done on the mat. I put the white belt back on, got in the room with people who’d already mastered money, and trained it like everything else. Today it sits at the centre of everything I teach.
Now it’s your turn.
Are You Ready To Live It All?
